Cathy Cullis is creating a kind of art that I've never seen before. She calls them "mixed media textile works" on her Etsy shop, but I've never heard the term before. I love the faces and people she's sewn into all the pieces.

This is about the 15th rewrite of the software that runs this weblog.
In the past I've used Greymatter, Blogger, a hand-rolled Perl beast, Drupal, WordPress, and a hand-rolled Ruby on Rails app.
This time, it was written in Merb (with help from Paginator, merb_has_flash, BlueCloth, and merbful authentication). I suggest you check it (them) out.
