Brilliant Corners joined partners from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Testimonial Community Love Center, DNA Architecture + Design, Mandeville Modular INC, and Hollywood Handy Construction Inc. to celebrate the groundbreaking of Testimonial Community Love Center, a new construction site in South Los Angeles that will provide 40 beds of interim housing.
Using modular prefabricated construction, the Testimonial Community Love Center will be a modern housing community designed to bring safety, stability, and belonging to neighbors in need.
Brilliant Corners is proud to partner on the development of this site, providing a range of construction project management services to support the development through its completion.
This site is also made possible through the State of California’s Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) initiative to expand interim housing beds with enhanced supportive services and housing navigation.
Once completed, the building will provide 40 beds in a non-congregate setting. The design prioritizes efficiency and sustainability, with a trauma-informed layout that incorporates outdoor spaces to foster communication and provide areas for individual and group activities. This project is designed to meet immediate housing needs by providing comfort and stability through thoughtful design.
