What We Do
Brilliant Corners was founded in 2004 in response to the housing crisis facing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Since then, we’ve become California’s largest partner in providing housing for people with I/DD in the historic shift from institutional settings to community-based living.
In partnership with nineteen of California’s twenty‑one Regional Centers, Brilliant Corners has developed over 260 residential care homes statewide, providing vital housing resources for more than 1,000 individuals with I/DD. Several additional homes are currently in development statewide. These critical housing resources are made possible through partnerships with the California Department of Developmental Services’ Community Placement Plan program.
The Homes We Develop
Our care homes are customized, state-of-the-art residences for people with I/DD. We’ve developed a wide variety of highly modified homes, customized specifically for residents.

Our dedicated staff provide ongoing maintenance and property management with care and intention, ensuring these exceptional homes continue to inspire stability, dignity, and opportunity for years to come.
