Sacramento Flexible Housing Pool
A new housing program providing Sacramento community members with stable housing and supportive services.
The Sacramento Flexible Housing Pool (FHP) is a new countywide initiative led by Brilliant Corners in partnership with the Sacramento County Department of Homeless Services and Housing (DHSH). The program provides a centralized system to help individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness quickly access and maintain permanent housing. Through rental subsidies, housing navigation, tenancy supports, and landlord engagement, FHP connects people to stable housing while offering the support needed to promote long-term housing stability and strengthen communities.
Professional Property Provider Incentives
Property providers receive significant advantages through the Sacramento Flexible Housing Pool, operated by Brilliant Corners. By contributing units to the Sacramento Flexible Housing Pool, property providers can join a network of Sacramento leaders working to solve housing needs in our community, one unit at a time. We’re able to offer a variety of incentives depending on program needs and unit vacancies. We provide financial streamlining for property providers, and timely and reliable payments.
A Pool of Ready Tenants
Brilliant Corners works closely with property providers to match move-in ready tenants to available units. These tenants are able to move into units with dedicated subsidies they receive through the Sacramento Flexible Housing Pool. Property providers have the opportunity to meet and approve prospective tenants prior to signing a lease. By connecting property providers with prospective tenants who are prepared to move quickly, the program can help reduce vacancy timelines and streamline unit leasing.
Wrap-Around Support
After moving in, tenants receive ongoing support from dedicated Brilliant Corners Housing Coordinators during the duration of the lease to ensure positive tenant-landlord relationships. Additionally, Case Management services are provided for each tenant for holistic support.

Brilliant Corners supports property providers in managing their portfolios, filling unit vacancies, and expanding their business opportunities. Each property provider is paired with a dedicated Housing Acquisition Specialist to provide immediate support and develop strategies for long-term growth.
