We had a great site visit at Toyon Gardens, Brilliant Corners’ new construction development in the El Camino Village neighborhood of LA County. We joined Supervisor Holly Mitchell’s team, along with our project team including Benchmark Contractors and our project architect Perkins&Will, to check out the site.

Toyon Gardens will provide 78 units to the community, with 60 permanent supportive housing units dedicated to people with disabilities, and people and families experiencing homelessness. A former truck storage lot, this 70,017 square foot development will include indoor community spaces, onsite property management and supportive services offices, bicycle parking along with exterior elevated common areas, a pet run and onsite podium parking.

Toyon Gardens is made possible in partnership with: National Equity Fund, Key Bank, Western Alliance Bank, Los Angeles County Development Authority, California Department of Social Services, California Department of Housing and Community Development, California Community Reinvestment Corporation, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), Genesis LA Economic Growth Corporation, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Housing for Health division, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
